This show will be the glittering finale of the two-year-project „Should I stay or should I go?“. After the expedition into the world of film, the actresses and actors from five European countries go back to their roots: improvised theater. They will celebrate the art of creation in the the moment across all borders of language and country. Their experiences and memories of the shoot as well as audience suggestions will serve as inspiration for this performance.
Improv theatre as it should be: Imaginative, funny, immediate.

Our project task was: Ask people in five countries about staying and leaving – in love, career, family, country, your own body. We researched and talked to people and now use their experiences in five feature film sequences that follow the question, why we stay where we are and when we decide to leave the place we're living in. The actor's collective Julie Doyelle (Lyon), Per Gottfredsson (Stockholm), Lorenz Kabas (Graz), Sonja Vilc (Ljubljana) and Michael Wolf (Berlin) in a movie that uses the method of improvisation and explores the concept of Collective Storytelling.
Directors: Beatrix Brunschko, Maja Dekleva Lapajne, Ludger Lemper, Philippe Muyard, Klaus Salminen.

Theatre: Västerbottensteatern, Nordlandergatan 1, 931 33 Skellefteå
After days of shooting in the cold north of Sweden the crew presents itself and the topic of the film in a warming improv show. The topic is relevant to Skelleftea as Vasterbotten is a county that young people - often young women - choose to move away from. Later in life they often choose to move back. Why is it so? Has the family a greater significance in Skelleftea than on other places in Sweden? Maybe we will find the answers tonight...

Should I stay or Should I go ?. Batailleuse irrésolue, l'équipe artistique internationale se retrouve pour jouer encore.
Improv shows in every partner country start the process of shooting an improvised movie. The audience will get an impression on the research findings and their artistic adaptation. In Lyon the topic of the research was "suffering at work", which means people who are being mobbed or otherwise treated badly and are trying to decide whether they want to stay in their work environment or not - with all the financial, social and health implementations this question bring with itself.
Just before the shooting of the third part of the international omnibus film Should I stay or should I go?, the creators of the Slovenian part will stage a live event in Gledališče Glej in Ljubljana. Since they are highly experienced theatre makers and new to film in many ways, they gain the most when they expose their work to live audience. The performance in Ljubljana will therefor be a performative exploration of how the topic of brain drain can be transformed first into stage material and later on into film. The artists will be able to try out their ideas in live contact with the audience, the audience members will be able to intimately observe the creative process and enjoy the playfulness of international masters of theatre improvisation.
The project is supported by the Culture Programme of the European Union and by the Ministry of Culture of Republic of Slovenia.
Theater: Cuvrystr. 20, 10997 Berlin
Improv shows in every partner country and the audience will get an impression on the research findings and their artistic adaptation. In and around Berlin the Germans talked to people considering themselves as transgender about their decision to change their sex or not. Very intimate, personal, but also funny and suprising statements were given and serve as inspirations for the international cast improvising according to this special subject.

Theater: Orpheumgasse 8, A-8020 Graz
"Love" is the big theme of the show and delivers the keywords for the scenes, stories and choreographies. Five actresses and actors from five European countries deal live at the moment in a playful-humorous way, with relish, but sometimes also critically with pictures, observations and happenings in the world that surrounds us. And thus the story with the unknown outcome starts.
Experience the ups and downs, which turn life and love into an adventure, live on this Improv-stage. Expect the unexpected!
